People like watching her for the same reason that they like slowing down for a car wreck, or the reason that everyone liked watching The Osbornes a while ago. It’s not because its’ good, but because people like watching other people fail.
I mean, people like looking up Lindsay Lohan too. At this point its basically a joke.

I have to start out by saying that I love Britney and I am so pleased to see her in her current state.

3) Her best songs actually reflect how nutty she and her life are.
While we hoped that we’d learn a lot about Britney’s nutiness, last night’s “For the Record,” claiming that “no question was off-limits,” didn’t really provide a sense of how nutty her life really is. Other than the paparazzi stalking her constantly, we still have no idea if she’s sober, and what actually caused all of her breakdowns. There’s no doubt Britney’s life wackier than any of ours, but Britney cannot try to come out with a documentary saying that she’s normal while promoting an album called “Circus.” I don’t get it.

5) There is a large fan base of early-twenties women who are nostalgic for the Britney they discovered in their early teens.
And early, er – mid – twenties men!!!
